STCA membership is open to fanciers who are interested in establishing a more uniform breed type, exhibiting at AKC dog shows, obedience and agility trials, developing the desirable traits of our breed, protecting the interests of the breed, and who would like to have a part in promoting interest for the breed in general. It is also open to those who merely love the breed for what it is and seek friendship with fellow fanciers.  We sponsor various awards, support American Staffordshire Terrier breed rescue efforts, sponsor specialty shows, provide educational materials and opportunities, and promote responsible dog ownership.

​The Staffordshire Terrier Club of America Inc. is a community of AmStaff Lovers who are committed to supporting our breed, from BSL Issues, Rescues, Community Education and much more. There are many benefits to becoming a member of the STCA.

The Staffordshire Terrier Club of America Inc. is governed by the Official STCA Constitution & Bylaws (April 2010). The Constitution & Bylaws Committee reviews and if necessary, updates our Constitution and Bylaws in accordance with AKC guidelines and member approval to assist the Club and its Board of Directors in carrying out the Club objectives and facilitate the efficient running of the Staffordshire Terrier Club of America Inc.
