This includes promoting health testing, responsible breeding, and breed education. The STCA provides comprehensive information about the AmStaff, including its history, temperament, health and care requirements. Our club organizes and supports various events and activities for AmStaffs and their owners, such as Specialty shows, agility competitions, and Meet the Breed activities. These events provide opportunities for showcasing the breed's versatility. We also are involved in rescue and rehoming efforts for the breed. This may include fostering dogs, facilitating adoptions, and advocating for responsible ownership. The STCA may engage in advocacy efforts to protect the rights and welfare of the American Staffordshire Terrier, including opposing breed-specific legislation and promoting responsible dog ownership laws.
